Rose pistachio choc torte

A variation on the earlier sugar-free chocolate torte, this one is not sugar-free but does feature rose flavour in the topping and pistachios in the base for a special occasion.

Ingredients

  • Mostly as ‘Chocolate torte’
  • 100g shelled, smashed, dry roasted (yourself, in a wok on a low heat) pistachios
  • Rose syrup
  • Non-dairy cream

Method

Recipe as for chocolate torte but add pistachios to biscuit base and tablespoon of rose syrup to chocolate/cream mix; decorate with extra rose syrup whipped into extra cream
