A variation on the earlier sugar-free chocolate torte, this one is not sugar-free but does feature rose flavour in the topping and pistachios in the base for a special occasion.
- Mostly as ‘Chocolate torte’
- 100g shelled, smashed, dry roasted (yourself, in a wok on a low heat) pistachios
- Rose syrup
- Non-dairy cream
Recipe as for chocolate torte but add pistachios to biscuit base and tablespoon of rose syrup to chocolate/cream mix; decorate with extra rose syrup whipped into extra cream
